   1 Keshab Chander Sen :- was an Indian Bengali Hindu philosopher and social reformer who attempted to incorporate Christian theology within the framework of Hindu thought.He was born on 19th November 1838 in Kolkata. He was a descendant of the medieval Sena kings of Bengal. He was so influenced by the ideas of Brahmo Samaj that he joined the Calcutta Brahmo Samaj in 1857. At the age of 19, Keshab Chandra Sen started social work by establishing an evening school for adults. MADHYA PRADESH All districts will now have one-stop centres for women in distress   One-stop centres will be established in the remaining 25 districts of the State to make all essential assistance available under one roof to violence-hit women and girls. With this decision of the Government of India, now one stop centres will be established in all 51 districts. Kautilya was the Prime Minister of Chandragupta Maurya. Chandragupta found the Mauryan Empire with his help. Arthashastra was written by him. It is the most important source for writing the history of the Mauryas and is divided into 15 adhikarnas or sections and 180 Prakaranas or subdivi­sions. It has about 6,000 slokas. MADHYA PRADESH Eastern terminal plan to get nod soon   The Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train is expected to have two terminals in the western and eastern parts of the city.   Vadodara is one amongst three stations of bullet train project in Gujarat where the train will stop during both its limited and standard services. MADHYA PRADESH Pond preservation campaign to start from may 1: chief minister   Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a campaign for preservation of ponds will be launched in the State from May 1 to June 15. MADHYA PRADESH Govt schools in Madhya Pradesh to be named after martyrs   The school education department is going to rename state-run schools after police and Army martyrs. The home ministry has asked the government to include names of martyred CRPF and BSF personnel as well.   Department is preparing a list of names to be given to government schools. Officials said martyrs from all over the country, not just MP, will be honoured. This includes legends of the 1971 India-Pakistan and 1999 Kargil wars.
