RAJASTHAN NFHS­4 : Rajasthan still prefers sons over daughters.   The National Family Health Survey (NHFS) – 4 has revealed that 19% men and women in Rajasthan want more sons than daughters. Conversely, only 1 per cent want more daughters than sons.   On a nationwide scale, 18.8% women and 19% men said they wanted more sons than daughters. RAJASTHAN Mandawar becomes second liquor-free village in Rajasthan   Mandawar in Bhim tehsil of Rajsamand district has become the second alcohol-free village of the state after Kachhbali.   The referendum on Saturday saw 59.86 % of voters demanding removal of liquor shops from the area. Of the total registered 2,711 voters, 1,779 participated in the poll.
