MADHYA PRADESH APMDC set to start coal mining in MP, a first in another state In a major move, Andhra Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation (APMDC) has set the stage to launch coal mining at Suliyari coal block in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh. The senior officials of the corporation performed a Bhumi Puja near the coal block on Monday. The men and machinery were moved to the spot to kickstart the mining operation. MADHYA PRADESH IIM-Indore to research on improving beat policing Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore is going to carry out a study of beat policing in Indore to improve the current system. An escalation in the cases of beat police brutality and callousness towards civilians have been reported by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). MADHYA PRADESH Central teams to conduct ODF water plus survey in Bhopal Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) commissioned teams arrived from Delhi to conduct ODT water plus survey. The survey is part of the Swachh Survekshan 2021 and Bhopal is vying to improve its position on the heels of recent, ease of living survey. According to sources, the survey can last up to five days.
