MADHYA PRADESH Finance Ministry approves Metro Rail projects in 5 cities of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh   The Union Finance Ministry has given “in-principle” approval to proposed Metro Rail projects in Indore, Bhopal, Kanpur, Agra, and Delhi. The estimated cost of the projects is ₹1.07 lakh crore. MADHYA PRADESH PM launches rs 3,866 crore mohanpura irrigation project   Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Mohanpura Irrigation Project in Rajgarh district in Madhya Pradesh.   The Rs 3,866-crore project includes a dam and a canal system. It will benefit 727 villages in the State.   The Prime Minister gave credit to the labourers who worked hard with tools and machines, sweating it out day and night.   Over 700 villages would directly benefit from the project. MADHYA PRADESH Madhya Pradesh’s tiger released in Odisha’s Satkosia reserve   In a successful operation, a tiger was captured and translocated from Kanha national park in Madhya Pradesh to the Satkosia tiger reserve in Odisha.   Officials claim this is the first time that a tiger from any tiger reserve has been sent to another state for reintroduction.   The tiger was tranquilised by the wildlife veterinarians of Kanha and Pench tiger reserves, and was measured for different physical parameters.
