MADHYA PRADESH Chouhan to dedicate Malwa water project on Sept 27 This project was announced by Chouhan in the year 2012 for a permanent solution to the water crisis of Malwa region. MADHYA PRADESH Extension of Bhopal, Indore Metro Rail projects approved The State Cabinet granted approval to extend the Bhopal and Indore Metro Rail Projects. Approval was also granted to a bank loan of 500 m euro from the European Investment Bank for the Bhopal Metro Rail Project. MADHYA PRADESH Rise in number of endangered birds noticed in western MP The number of Lesser floricans, an endangered species of migratory birds, visiting western Madhya Pradesh has increased this year. Every year, the birds migrate to Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat in July, and live there for around four months before flying off elsewhere. They are found only in the Indian subcontinent.
