Madhya Pradesh Cabinet clears proposal to allocate Rs 104 crore to collectors to fight Covid-19
The approved a proposal to allocate a sum of 104 crore that is an undisclosed amount of Rs 2 crore to each collector for theproper arrangementand management of the pandemic at the ground level in view of the spread of Covid-19 infection.
The proposal was approved by the state cabinet in a virtual meeting under the chairmanship of the chief ministerShivraj SinghChouhan.
This includes arrangement of rehabilitation camps including food and clothing, operation ofmedical camps(quarantine camps), supervision of camps, security of employees deployed in essential works, sanitation expenses etc. for the various works beng undertaken for theprevention of Covid-19and purchase of essential equipments in thefinancial year 2021-22.

Delivered nearly 14,500 tonnes of medical oxygen to various states so far: Railways
The Railways has delivered nearly 14,500 tonnes of liquid medical Oxygen in over 884tankerstovarious statessince it started its operation, the national transporter said.
So far, 224 ‘Oxygen Express’trainshave completed their journey and brought relief to various states, while eight others, loaded with over 563 tonnes of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) in 35 tankers, are currently on their way.
Relief by ‘Oxygen Express’ trains has reached 13 states — Uttarakhand, Karnataka,Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Nadu,Haryana, Telangana, Punjab, Kerala, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
