Women in Madhya Pradesh have become empowered
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Women are being continuously empowered in Madhya Pradesh. The Ladli Lakshmis whom I had fed, today are working to run the government. Today one such daughter Bharti is the President of Harda . The State Government implemented 50 percent reservation for women in panchayats, due to which today my sisters are ruling from village panchayat to district panchayat.
Chouhan attended the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan at Harda today. He dedicated and performed bhoomi-pujan of development works worth Rs 102 crore. Along with this, he distributed benefits to the beneficiaries under various government schemes. Chouhan said that Late Hariprasad Paliwal had donated his personal land of 22 acres for Eklavya Vidyalaya. The residential building of the school will be named after Late Paliwal.
The Chief Minister said that Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna has been started for the poor and middle class women of the state. All my eligible sisters will be benefited by this scheme. He said that brother-sister is a relation of affection, soul and love. Respect and welfare of sisters and daughters has been my top priority. I often keep humming this song Phoolon ka taron ka sabka kehna hai, ek hazaron me meri behna hai. The happiness of my sisters is my happiness. The life of the sisters should be happy, this will give meaning to my being the Chief Minister.

44% ‘partnered’ women in 68 countries dont have right over their body: UN Report
A staggering 44% of partnered Women in 68 countries do not have the right over their body to make informed decisions when it comes to havingsex, usingcontraceptionand seeking Health care. Also an estimated 257 million women worldwide have an unmet need for safe, reliable contraception.
Around 24% of partnered women are unable to say no to sex and 11% are unable to make decisions specifically about contraception, according to data from 68 countries cited inUNFPAs State of World Population Report 2023.
Qatar & Bahrain to Continue Diplomatic Bonds
It was declared by both the countries Qatar and Bahrain that they will reopen their diplomatic relations after a gap of 2 years.
This was decided in the 2nd conference – Bahraini-Qatari Follow-Up Committee held at GCC Central Secretariat Office in Riyadh, Saudi. This is the first step taken after the 2021 boycott of Qatar.
Leaders have recently visited each other and the agreement is done to support and enhance joint Gulf action.
Indias First DNA Database developed by Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh is the first-ever state in India to officially create DNA Database for unidentified bodies.
It has been recorded that about 150 DNA samples of nameless dead bodies. It is a big relief for those people who tirelessly look for the bodies of their families.
Over 100 bodies are discovered across several parts of states in India. Through this step, the details of the bodies will be revealed or identified within seconds.
