23 redensification schemes costing Rs 1900 crores approved in a year

Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh has informed that in the last one year, 23 redensification schemes worth Rs. 1900 crore 87 lakh have been approved by Madhya Pradesh Housing and Development Board in various cities. Out of these, a total of 8 schemes are underway and the process of starting work in the remaining is in progress.

Burhanpur package-1 old district hospital redensification scheme costing Rs 54 crores 27 lakhs, Burhanpur package-2 district panchayat and tehsil office redensification scheme costing Rs 45 crores, Sidhi’s redensification scheme, government office complex at Samrat Chowk costing Rs 55 crores, Singrauli redensification scheme (Block Colony) and RI Quarter land) costing Rs 88 crores, Megh Nagar Jhabua Redensification Plan costing Rs 15 crores, Ujjain Redensification Scheme (Revenue Colony) costing Rs 88 crores 60 lakhs, Khurai Redensification Plan costing Rs 47 crores and Thatipur-Gwalior Redensification Scheme costing Rs 625 crore have been approved. Work on these is in progress.
