Rs 2100 crore interest of farmers will be waived on June 13
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that his schemes for Women Empowerment including Ladli Bahna Yojana will usher in a new era in the next five years by overcoming injustice, illiteracy and POVERTY.
Chouhan was interacting with women and a large number of villagers who attended the Ladli Bahna Sammelan and residential land rights letter distribution programme in Bamhori kasba village of Raisen district on Wednesday. The Chief Minister also gifted development works worth Rs 328 crore 4 lakh 20 thousand to the people of Silvani and Udaipura assembly constituencies.
The Chief Minister said that the farmers should also be happy as the government will pay the interest amount of Rs 2100 crores of farmers on coming June 13. Apart from Rs 2,900 crore for crop Insurance, a Kisan Samman Nidhi of Rs 2,000 each will also be deposited in the accounts of the farmers.
The Chief Minister assured the sisters that he would continue to work for the honour of daughters, sisters and mothers till his last breath. He said that Ladli Bahna Yojana is a social revolution and heralds a new era of Women Empowerment. Schemes prepared by him like Ladli Laxmi, Mukhyamantri Kanya-Vivah have made daughters a boon from earlier a curse in the Society, while to local bodies and reservation in government Services have ensured adequate participation of half the Population in development along with power.

The mission includes plans to set upDairy Farmer Producer Organizations (Dairy FPOs)and to pilot five in different districts of the state in 2023-24, with a focus on female participation.

The scheme seeks to achieve Indias commitment to increasing the share of non-fossil fuel sources in the countrys installed capacity of electric power. In a bid to boost the implementation of solar projects on agricultural lands, the central government is considering linking thePM-KUSUM schemewith the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF). This move aims to provide farmers with access to cheaper loans for setting up solar projects and procuring equipment.
Individual farmers, groups of farmers, cooperatives, panchayats, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and Water User Associations (WUAs) can set up solar power Plants with capacities ranging from 500 kW to 2 MW.
